Early days BM, I hear Dissection and Hecate Enthroned here, and since I loved those bands and their early work, I instantly fell for the spell thrown here by AO... Very very immersive and mesmerizing BM. All BM fans should find this interesting as well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED is a freaking under-statement.

Blackbraid quickly followed up their 2022 debut in 2023 with more native folk infused furious black metal. This is by no means a sophomore slump as it is equally excellent, methodical, melodical, and approachable as the first record. 9/10
